Howdy y'all!! This is my first attempt at blogging and it may not be a very good one but what the hell here goes. Freedom Hall is the Veterans Lounge at Texas Lutheran University. This place is our home away from home where Veterans can hang out, study, drink coffee, tell lies and have some place to feel as though they belong on a campus full of kids who have yet to experience life away from momma. We have a lot of fun and laughs here and there have been a few tears shed as well. Outside of my wife, children and Army buddies these Veterans are my family. If you attend TLU stop by and meet some truly great people and but please leave your sensitivity at the door because this is a room full of people who EARNED the right to free speech! All who enter are fair game!!! I will be making follow up posts with some of the funny things said here but I will start with this, "Alec, you are smiling like you just found a sack of dicks!"" said Adam to Alec.
